I'll be honest with you, I've been thinking a lot about what AEB can really do for our community. And I realized our monthly meetup could be doing so much more.
People in this industry work hard. But so much of what gets you to the next level isn't just talent — it's who you know, who believes in you, and who's willing to open a door. I want AEB to be the place where that actually happens.
So I'm relaunching our monthly meetup as the AEB Career & Connection Hub, a Zoom where our network comes together to share real opportunities, make real introductions, and connect people who are looking for work with people who have it.
Whether you're looking for your next opportunity, you're building a team, or you just want to give back to someone coming up in this business — there's a seat at the table for you.
Here's what we're building:
A live opportunity board — you tell the room what you're looking for or what you have to offer, right on the call
Mentor matching — get connected with someone who's been where you're trying to go
A referral program — invite people you believe in and get rewarded for growing this community
Our first session is Thursday, April 30 at 5:30PM CST. This one is our founding call- just us, getting honest about what this community needs. I want to hear from you directly.
