Over 250 people poured into a venue that looks like a house and another 100+ watched on Zoom to network & hear some amazing guest speakers. AEB's Founder & Host Producer Jennifer Hutchins & Host Ed Curtis shined a light on the thriving nexus of business and cinema in the Lone Star State. This intimate Fireside Chat featured illustrious Texas filmmakers and pioneering leaders from film-friendly businesses.
The conversation highlighted Opportunities in Texas with over 20 high profile guest speakers including Troublemaker Studios (Spy Kids franchise, Desperado) Co-Owner and VP Elizabeth Avellan, Detour Filmproduction's (Boyhood, Dazed and Confused) Director of Operations Catherine Gonzales and Producer Chris Debiec (James Cameron's producer, VP of Eone). We also heard from Freestyle Digital Media's Head of Digital Film Distribution Bill Vergos.
